Financial Aid

  • You can learn about various types of financial aid, including grants, scholarships, loans, and work study by visiting the Office of Student Financial Aid at http://financialaid.kennesaw.edu/ and clicking “Types of Aid” on the left side of the screen.

  • To begin the financial aid process, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov. The FAFSA will be used to determine which financial aid programs you will be awarded.

The Kennesaw State University Office of Student Financial Aid (OSFA) seeks to provide financial aid award information to students as quickly as possible. Because of the need to have information from the US Department of Education, we typically begin sending award notifications to admitted applicants after all required applications and documents have been received for the student. Admitted applicants are sent a financial aid award letter on a rolling basis via your KSU email as the OSFA receives financial aid applications. For additional information regarding your financial aid award letter please visit http://financialaid.kennesaw.edu/student-resources/awarding.php
