Veterans: Those who have served our country fall under one of the admission classifications and have additional resources on campus for their military service.
At Kennesaw State University, we are very proud of all of our men and women who have served our country. As a token of our appreciation, we have made it a top priority to make your transition back to higher education as smooth as possible. We have been heralded as a “Military Friendly School” by G.I. Jobs magazine, and we boast an on campus Veterans Resource Center, a one-stop-shop devoted solely to the development of veterans, the first of its kind in the state of Georgia.
We also offer a monthly Veterans Black and Gold Experience which gives you a chance to speak with our Veterans Enrollment Specialist, representatives from our Veterans Resource Center, and our VA coordinator, followed by an optional walking campus tour. As an ongoing effort to provide the best customer service to our veteran community, we have created a 5 minute survey which we encourage you to take the time to complete. The information you provide will be completely anonymous and will help us improve the way we recruit and retain our military students to ensure a smooth and seamless transition for our future student-veterans.
NOTE: All enrolling students must provide the University System of Georgia proof of immunization to the Health Clinic. Also, all applicants who apply for in-state tuition must provide lawful presence verification.
