Admissions Counselor & Minority Recruiter
What was your experience like as a Kennesaw State student?
My experience was wonderful, the students and faculty were friendly. My first time on campus, I couldn’t find the Financial Aid office, and two sisters stopped and asked if they could help me. They not only told where to go, but they walked with me and we became instant friends. I still remember that to this day, and I think that is what makes a campus standout.
What is the best part of your job?
Running into students on campus that I’ve helped throughout the year.
Describe what “Owl Nation” means to you.
Owl Nation means so many things; Kennesaw is constantly expanding locally and globally, and we want KSU students to represent us everywhere they go. We want our students to be proud they’re Owls.
If you could share one “secret” about Kennesaw State, what would it be?
We have so many ways you can get involved at Kennesaw State. You can join a club or three, compete on a team or even start your own organization. You can really make your mark at Kennesaw State.
Any advice for future Owls?
My advice to future Owls is, when you get to Kennesaw, remember you’re a part of history in the making. Start new traditions, branch out and don’t be afraid to be a leader.
