Pathway to Enrollment (Bridge Program)

The Bridge Program allows students to complete any needed learning support courses at either Chattahoochee Technical College (CTC)  or Georgia Highlands College (GHC) and seamlessly join Owl Nation when ready to work towards their bachelor’s degree.

Why choose the Bridge Program?

  • Students who choose the Bridge Program work 1-on-1 with a KSU admission counselor who ensures an easy entrance into one of the partner schools of the student’s choice.
  • All transcripts previously submitted to KSU will be securely shared with our partner schools so the student will not have to spend time or money requesting new documents.
  • Students who choose to attend CTC will not pay a second application fee.
  • Students who choose to attend GHC have the opportunity to take classes on the KSU Marietta Campus.
  • Once the needed learning support classes are complete, students can transition to KSU to complete their undergraduate degree

How does it work?

Students who have applied to KSU but did not meet the minimum Accuplacer Exam score for KSU admission will qualify for the Bridge Program. Follow the steps below:

  1. After completion of the Accuplacer Exam, contact the Bridge Program Coordinator in the KSU Office of Admissions at BridgeProgram@kennesaw.edu.
  2. Decide which college and campus location will best fit your need. Both CTC and GHC have multiple campus locations.
    1. If attending Georgia Highlands College:
      • Submit the online application to GHC and $25 application fee
      • Submit participation agreement to KSU Bridge Program Coordinator
    2. If attending Chattahoochee Technical College:
      • Submit the paper application and Participation Agreement to KSU Bridge Program Coordinator
  3. KSU can then securely share your previously submitted transcripts and test scores to your chosen school. You will not have to resubmit these documents.
  4. The contact for either CTC or GHC will work with you to admit you to their college and register for the needed learning support courses.
  5. Once your learning support courses are complete, contact the Bridge Program Coordinator at KSU, who will update your prior KSU application to the term you wish to attend and secure your college transcript.
  6. You will then work with an academic advisor at KSU to select courses and complete your degree.
