Assistant Director of Transfer Recruitment

Natasha Talreja

What drew you to KSU?

The massive growth that KSU has been experiencing over the past decade, is what drew me KSU. Kennesaw State University is an institution that has an incredible amount of potential waiting to be exposed. KSU is no longer the “back up” school, but rather the #1 or #2 list of choice colleges for both first-year freshman and transfer students!

What is the best part of your job?

The best part of my job is to welcome a transfer student back into the college setting/environment. Often I meet students who have taken a 2-5 year break to focus on other things, but they are determined to get back into school and finish what they started. Getting the opportunity to work with those students and other traditional transfer students is what makes me ecstatic to be here!

Describe what “Owl Nation” means to you?

Owl Nation, to me, means unity. We are the KSU Owls and we are in this together.

If you could share one “secret” about KSU, what would it be?

We are so close to Atlanta, it provides a great opportunity to for students to participate in co-ops and internships while they are in school at Kennesaw State.

Any advice for future Owls?

Ask for help-anytime! We know that the application process can be daunting and intimidating, but we are always here to help. As Admission recruiters, we have heard it all, so don’t be shy if you think your question is silly or sounds quirky.
