What ACT score do you need to get into Kennesaw?

Is it hard to get into Kennesaw State University?

We hope students are challenging themselves with their high school curriculum which would greatly prepare themselves for college coursework. KSU requires students to meet the GPA as calculated by KSU and the stated SAT/ACT score requirements for admission.

Do you have to live on campus freshman year at KSU?

Housing and Residence Life at Kennesaw State University is committed to supporting first-year students in their academic pursuits. Although it is not required, it is strongly encouraged for students to live on the Kennesaw Campus. The Marietta Campus has a first-year live-on requirement for students pursuing majors based on the Marietta campus.

Can freshman have cars at KSU?

Yes. If a student wishes to bring their car to campus, a parking permit must be purchased, and student must follow the parking rules and regulations enforced by our Parking and Transportation Department.

What are the requirements to get into Kennesaw State University?

Incoming freshmen must meet the following requirements:

  • 2.5 GPA in 17 units of required high school coursework as recalculated by Kennesaw State, AND
    Old SAT (taken prior to March 2016)
  • SAT Critical Reading score of 450 AND
    SAT Math score of 450

What is the application deadline for Kennesaw State University?

The application deadline for freshman/transfer-freshman for summer 2020 and fall 2020 is June 1. For all other applicants the summer 2020 application deadline is June 1, and for fall 2020 is June 12. The dual enrollment deadline for fall 2020 is March 27. Please refer to our deadlines page.

Transfer applicants must complete the online application. In addition, transfer applicants are required to submit all college transcripts from current and past colleges attended.

Many high schools and colleges have different options when sending official transcripts. Please refer to your school’s guidance office or college registrar’s office to find out their preferred method.
